Junior Entrepreneur is a hands-on business course for homeschool students aged 10 and above who are curious, creative and ready to bring an idea to life.
Across Term 4, students will learn how to create a real business concept from the ground up. We will cover naming, branding, pricing, basic business registration language, ABNs, GST, RRP, logo design, product photography, website creation and marketing.
This course blends practical life skills with creativity, maths, writing, technology, communication and confidence. Students will not just talk about business. They will build one.
At the end of the term, students will launch their idea at a celebration Christmas Market for friends, family and the community. They will have the chance to present their brand, sell their product or service, speak to customers and experience the pride of turning an idea into something real.

Course Overview
Junior Entrepreneur is a practical, creative and confidence-building business course designed for homeschool students aged 10 and above.
Across Term 4, students will move from idea to launch. They will learn how to name a business, create a product or service, understand the basics of business registration, pricing, GST, RRP, branding, logo design, photography, marketing, website creation and selling in person.
The course ends with a celebration Christmas Market where students launch their business to friends, family and the wider community.
This is not just a craft class. This is a real-world learning experience that blends creativity, maths, communication, technology, financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

Students create a logo concept, colour palette and basic brand identity.

6. The Christmas Market Section

Is this suitable for complete beginners?
Yes. Students do not need to have a business idea before starting. We will help them develop one.
What age is the course for?
The course is designed for students aged 10 and above.
Does my child need to register an ABN?
No. The course teaches what an ABN is, but any real registration must be handled by a parent or guardian.
What kind of business can my child create?
Students may create a product, service, creative business, digital idea, handmade item, market stall concept or another age-appropriate business idea.
Do students need a laptop?
A laptop or tablet will be helpful for website and design weeks. Parents will be advised what to bring before each session.
Will students actually sell at the market?
Students will have the opportunity to sell or showcase their business at the Christmas Market, depending on their business idea and parent approval.
Can parents attend?
Parents may be invited to attend specific sessions, especially the ABN/business setup discussion and the final Christmas Market.
